From generation to generation, the wisdom acquired by man through training, life experiences, research has been explored to find solution, build structures, plant seeds and grow trees, excel in trading, harvest crops, discover treasures and obtain return on investment provided the required platform to access the needed information is identified.
The world has become a global village where, finding and exchanging information is prevalent provided you have clearly defined parameters for your search; such as type of information, defined target and source of information, specify time frame, and how the information needed should be applied. In most cases, man has not been able to articulate the needs, but where parameters have been well defined, and the enablers are available (time, money, people, platform, processes etc.) information can be purchased, derived through research, feasibility study, and sharable through diverse technical or social platforms, such as cloud, intranet and internet, television, radio, journals, books and social media and network.
Today, so much has been achieved on earth through man’s wisdom by engaging the miners of silver, the refiners of gold, the diggers of iron, the smelters’ of brass, inventers of electricity, by medical scientist, agriculturist, theologians, zoologist, aeronautical and Astronautical engineering making navigation through the earth and outside the earth possible. Through it all, man has been able to secure information that is considered valuable and profiting which provides clarification and answers to questions, solve medical, social, religious, political, economic and tourism problems on domestic, local, national and international level by utilising, divers skills and experiences to help the human race in solving problems, addressing issues and uncovering treasures (e.g. oil and gas, minerals and precious stones) that lies under the earth or in the way of the sea.
The needs of mankind are enormous but there are yet questions to be answered, issues to be addressed and problems to be solved however, man is yet to discover the “WHATSOEVER THAT PASSETH THROUGH THE PATH OF THE SEA”, WHY? “These are treasures no bird of prey can see, no falcon’s eye observes. No wild animal has walked upon these treasures; no lion has ever set his paw there”. Job 28:7-8
They are mysteries yet to be unraveled, enigma yet to be resolved, depth of riches to be discovered, hidden treasures to be tapped but they could not be bought with gold or any amount of silver neither can they be acquired through the wisdom of this world or purchased with money.
For it is hidden from the eyes of all living, and knowledge of it is withheld from the birds of the heavens, the place of death and destruction have heard the report of it with the hearing of the ear, but yet the way of wisdom is only known to God. For all things on the earth and underneath the earth, both visible and invisible are created by God and known to him. They are searchable through Supernatural exploits of Divine power and Divine Wisdom”. Job 28: 21-24
Beloved Brethren, creation is waiting on us for the story yet untold, the mysteries yet unraveled and the problems yet unsolved, for we have been made kings and priest unto our God; the wait is over now! “It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings to search it out” Prov 25:2. Rev 5:10
Are You Ready to Search It Out?
Yes, you can if you have received the gift of God’s love through Christ who is God’s power and God’s wisdom to those called by God unto Salvation regardless of their race, gender, professional and social background. And if you are ready to cry out for Divine Wisdom as silver and search for her like hidden treasure, for it could not be acquired or read, it can only be revealed to those who believe by the Holy Spirit, through the Word of God. Joh 3:16, 1 Cor 1:24, Prov 2:1-4.
Consider this:
Wisdom of the World:
- Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.” So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours, [1Cr 3:18-21 NIV]
Extended Invitation to Do Exploit With the Proceeds of Wisdom
- Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? … 4 “To you, O people, I call out; I raise my voice to all mankind. 5 You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, set your hearts on it. 6 Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right. … 10 Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, 11 for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her. … 13 To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. 14 Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have insight, I have power. 15 By me kings reign and rulers issue decrees that are just; 16 by me princes govern, and nobles–all who rule on earth. 17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. 18 With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity. 19 My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver. 20 I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, 21 bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full. … 32 “Now then, my children, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways. 33 Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not disregard it. 34 Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. 35 For those who find me find life and receive favor from the LORD. [Pro 8:1, 4-6, 10-11, 13-21, 32-35 NIV]
Christ The Wisdom of God to Them That Believe:
- “but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. 26 Brothers and sisters think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things–and the things that are not–to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God–that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” [1Cor 1:24-31 NIV]
