It is obvious that most people regardless of their professional and political background, spiritual, social and economic status, their national classification or geographical location; invest time, effort, training, money and human resources in their varied area of endeavour or activity with an expectation to achieve Inestimable, immeasurable and exceeding great result in life, in business and in their career.  In most cases, the result whether on a short term, medium or long term derived from man’s investment can be qualified and quantified based on incremented percentage that has a definitive limit, because the derived outcome or result achieved is directly proportional to the invested input, given that the input is quantified with set boundaries. So also is the result measurable given the limitation in the resources invested, input parameters, activities or task accomplished.

So a natural man does not have the capability of producing or achieving immeasurable result due to its temporal configuration except by engaging the limitless wisdom of God that is embedded in His revealed and spoken word. “For all flesh is as grass, and all its glory like flower of grass, the grass withers, and the flower fails, but the word of the Lord abides forever”.  But the divine power of God has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and exceeding great promises, so that by them we may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. 1 Pet 1: 24-25, 2 Pet 1:3-4

Achieving an inestimable and exceeding great result is dependent on the believer’s perception, understanding and disposition to the revealed and spoken precious promises of God’s irrevocable word. Each believer’s ability to know and understand God’s word has a tremendous impact on their receptivity and action of faith in the word of God.  Invariably, believers’ readiness to follow through on the strength of the word of God without wavering but rather pursue after the love of God with absolute obedience determines the result obtained from the great and precious promises of Gods’ word.  1Joh 2:3-6

It’s time to call the question; do you know Christ who is the Word of God?  if yes, how passionate are you in pursuing after the knowledge of Christ beyond the one-off encounter or experience of Him?  We have come to understand the love of God through Jesus Christ by which we are given access to the incalculable and inexhaustible resources of God as an heir of the promise.  We need to be built up internally having faith in the word of God and by praying in the Holy Ghost, so that we can become robust in our relationship with God as we allow the word of God to dwell richly in us.  We must endeavour to take advantage of our new position in God as an heir of God through Christ to overcome all of life challenges and to excel in every area of our lives’ endeavours, by keeping ourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.   Jud1:20-21, 1 Joh 2:3-6, Gal 4:7

So it is paramount that every believer should endeavour to pursue the life of God in Christ Jesus that offers us a dynamic and ever increasing life, for whosoever is born of God overcomes the world including the dark places of the earth that are full of habitation of cruelty.  For it is not the investment in the bank that provides the inestimable and exceeding great result but the internal enrichment gained from knowing Christ and engaging the proof producing word of God, to work first within the believer and externally through the believer to enable us to not just overcome life’s challenges but afford us entrance to his eternal kingdom producing in and through us visible evidence of inestimable and exceeding great result based on the revealed and spoken word of God. It is time to pursue Christ, the Word of God with passion. Rom 8:16-17, Psa 74:20, 2Pet 1:2-12

Consider this:

• Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know [them], and be established in the present truth. [2Pe 1:2-12 KJV]
• Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected [the same] in hope, because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for [it]. Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. [Rom 8:12-26 KJV]

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. [1Jo 2:3-6 KJV]

To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Some observe time and season but are yet to discover or acknowledge the creator of all seasons and times.  God controls time and season but was never controlled by season or restricted by time.  Ecc 3: 1-4

This man is aware of season, has literal understanding of times and has expectation to recover from his infirmity on time and in time, but many seasons has come and gone, he had seen many opportunities for recovery but he had never seen a manifestation of answers to his questions or solutions to his problems, therefore his problem persisted for yet many more years.  John 5:1-9

However, he located the city of refuge and peace but was internally worried, anxious and full of unrest and was troubled in his soul for the problem and issue that he was unable to correctly diagnose or give a name to and had refused to go away.  He kept company with multitude of folks with known issue and ailment i.e. the blind, disadvantage men with physical disability and paralysis even though he was physically fit, intelligent and was mentally alert having the right information but lacking the revelation of the way of truth nor understands the way of mercy. He sat at the pool of mercy but never obtained mercy for none had ever shown him mercy or extended help to him in his state of stagnation and lack of progression. Joh 5:1-9

Like others, he was in desperate need for help and continued to sit at the gate of grace waiting for the only form of healing that he knows, with a mindset that if he can just but get in to the pool of mercy when the water is stirred by the angel, he would be healed.  Unfortunately, he never experienced favour with man so remained grounded on his bed of affliction, pain, problem and trauma with reasons yet unknown to him.

He was ignorant of the reason behind his trouble and therefore misinterpreted his lack of recovery and blamed his prolonged issue on none availability of help from man to dive into the pool of mercy when it is stirred up by the Angel.  Little did he know that Peace, Mercy and Grace is an outflow of the nature and character of God and is not locked up to a traditional place, natural or physical form of the stirring of the water, or manmade devices of diving into the water? It is divinely given by God and it is available to every man whose spiritual and physical cure and total recovery has been secured through the word of God in Christ Jesus.

Jesus, the word of God manifested to make him whole, but he was unable to rightly discern the solution to his infirmity for he lacked awareness of his spiritual state of sin neither did he understand the true knowledge of God in Christ for it can only be spiritually discerned.  Grace and mercy were available to him, but he was still deficient of the same until he embraced the word of Jesus that produces life, quickens and brings recovery to his lifeless, hopeless, helpless, condition of his infirmity that was created by the sinful nature.

Receiving the word of life “Get Up and pick your bed and walk, immediately the man became well and picked up his bed and began to walk”, he experienced a divine possibility and turnaround that made him an amazement to his world.   He received his healing and moved from lying by the pool of mercy and the gate of grace to join the multitude in the temple even though he was yet to know the healer.

Joining worshipers in the temple, he was located by Jesus who through the spoken word of God unraveled the mystery of his formal spiritual state to him and warned him from sinning again and therefore delivered him from his vulnerability to the operation of the carnal nature that could result in stagnation and destruction again to embrace the life of the spirit in Christ Jesus.  For if any man is in Christ is a new creature, old things have passed away behold all things have become new.  John 1:1, Joh 5:1-9, Joh 5:13-14, 2Cor 5:17

Beloved, it is time to ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you and I our spiritual state; so that rather than just being part of the multitude in church, every believer must engage and embrace the life of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, having our mind renewed by the word of God; for a carnal mind is enmity against God and cannot receive anything from God even though all that is needed for life and Godliness have been provided for every believer in Christ Jesus.

It is paramount that you and I locate our spiritual heritage through the word of God and walk in the light of God’s word and not fulfil the desires of the flesh such that grace and mercy of God can recover for us the missed seasons, lost opportunities, wasted times, lack of achievement and progress in life for a turnaround of all our impossibilities to untold possibilities of a life time.  For whatsoever the Lord does abides forever. James 4:4-5

Consider this:

• What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? You lust and do not have; so, you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: “He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us”? [Jam 4:1-5 NIV]

• How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to your word. With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments [Psa 119:9-10]

• The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them your servant is warned; In keeping them there is great reward. Who can discern his errors? Acquit me of hidden faults.   Also keep back your servant from presumptuous sins; Let them not rule over me; then I will be blameless, and I shall be acquitted of great transgression.  Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my rock and my Redeemer. [Psa 19:9-14 NIV]

• Seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. [2 Pet 1:3-4 NIV]

The trained armies of Israel, their noble men and their king were intimidated by the power that seemed mightier than them. The overwhelming voice of their adversary that was heard morning and night and all they could see is the appearance of the enemy, his regalia and shield, weapons of war and his oppressive voice.  Even though the armies of Israel were many in number, their professional training and instruments of war were not adequate to confront the adversary of a one-man band (Goliath the Philistine).  However, their confidence was in themselves and not in God; so, their intelligence, strategy, training and personal capability failed them for fear for it was inadequate to achieve untold victory.  1 Sam 17

Being well equipped with weapons of war; they lacked expression because their word repository was empty and hence they were void of expression of the force of life that is required to defeat their adversary. Their strength was sapped, and their mouths were shut for they lack the force of life and were therefore unprepared for the battle they were facing even though they are in desperate need of victory.

Consequently, their expectation for untold possibility of a victorious battle was like a dream that has no likelihood of being realised, for they have become powerless without engaging the force of life.  For “with the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach will be satisfied; He will be satisfied with the product of his lips. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit”.  The force of life is in the spoken word of God; a closed mouth is a closed destiny and causes defeat in the battle of life. Untold possibilities are only accessible to those who found God’s word, eat them and engage their mouth in declaring and decreeing the revealed word of God in the face of the adversity. Prov 18:21, Jer 15:16

David, a young shepherd boy, an untrained man refused to be intimidated and despised by Goliath’s threat against him saying “Am I a dog that you come at me with sticks?” He cursed David and promised to give his flesh to the birds and the wild animals.  But David rose up to defend the army of Israel and his king by speaking back to the enemy (Goliath the Philistine), paralysed the philistine and thus spoke with boldness and confidence in the God of Israel who keeps covenant saying “you come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel”.  For those who know their God shall be strong and do exploits. As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into Goliath’s forehead, and he fell face down on the ground.

So David achieved an untold possibility, triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.  God honoured his spoken word and empowered him to obtain untold victory in a cheap way but with divine ammunition rather than the armour of the flesh to secure indescribable victory for Israel.  For you shall decree a thing and they shall be established. 1 Sam 17, Dan 11:32b, Job 22:28,

Beloved, you can command the power of the revealed and spoken word of God which is the force of life through the agency of your mouth to prevail over the adversary and obtain supernatural successes and victories that are beyond your imagination and expectation.  But nothing just happens, out of the abundance of the heart, lies the expression of the spoken word of God.  It is time to guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life.  May the Lord fill your mouth with the force of life for untold victories and possibilities in every area of your life as you engage your tongue in declaring the revealed words of God.  Luk6:45, Pro 4:23, Psa 81:10b

Consider this:

• You have delivered me from the contentions of the people; You have placed me as head of the nations; A people whom I have not known serve me. As soon as they hear, they obey me; Foreigners submit to me. Foreigners fade away, And come trembling out of their fortresses [Psa 18:43-45  NIV]
• And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you [Mar 11:22-24 NIV]

The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life [Joh 6:63]

“The word of the Lord is right, and all His works are done in truth”, creation depicts the exactitude, the accuracy and showcases the integrity of God’s word. God’s divine word finds its expression in the things that are visible, which were products of God’s spoken word.   For all things were created by God’s spoken word, including you and I and there was nothing created that is visible without Gods Word.  So untold possibilities remain a secret and would be unachievable until the right word of God is located as a revealed word of God for the required possibilities desired by man. For it is the glory of God to conceal a matter but the glory of kings to search out the matter. Until the hidden secret of God’s word is unraveled, natural man is denied of its benefit and the force of its fulfilment that is expressed in supernatural exploits and untold possibilities. Psa 33:3, Gen 1, Joh 1, Prov 25:2, Den 29:29

God’s word is the engine ignited by the fuel of the Holy Ghost to produce supernatural exploits.  The able bodies- smart and intelligent men remained captives in Babylon, until Daniel located and understood by the books, the prophetic word spoken through prophet Jeremiah that the seventy years decreed period of Israelites captivity in Babylon has expired. Daniel searched through the concealed records as he brought God into remembrance of His word through prayer, fasting, in confession and repentance of sin.  He gained understanding of the mystery behind why they were still in captivity and their land remains desolate.  It thus confirm that the untold possibility of becoming free from all captivity, spiritual, physical, material, financial, joblessness, sickness, marital failures etc clearly depends on the believer’s ability to locate the right word of God and do spiritual warfare with it, for no acts of God is visible without the active, revealed word of God.    Jer 25:11-12, Jer 29:10, Dan 9:2

Ignorance of the revealed word of God is a killer of destiny and a preventer of access to the divine riches of untold possibilities. Beloved, having the revealed knowledge of God’s word carries with it power that terminates shame and brings untold possibilities of divine honour.  Every one like to be honoured and propelled to a position of honour; but God’s act of divine honour only has expression once the right word is located.  Paul admonished Timothy to study to show himself approved of God as a workman that does not need to be ashamed but rightly divides the word of truth.   David cried out for divine insight to behold wondrous things from God’s law, having understood that it takes divine revelation of God’s word to defeat his enemies.  Through divine revelation, he brought down the head of Goliath; he was promoted from a shepherd boy to the king’s armour bearer and later became a king of Israel.  He accomplished untold possibilities that have never been attained in the history and generation of his fathers.  Even though Gods’ word makes wise the simple, but it must be sought after, thought through, meditated upon, for in it lies the power for untold possibilities in success, greatness, profit and divine prosperity and wholeness.  There is no short cut, the time to search through the word and engage the right word of God is now. 2 Tim 2:15, Psa 119:18.

Achieving untold possibilities as an outflow of supernatural exploits is a desire of every believer. It is needful in the church of Jesus Christ in order to accomplish the great commission, fulfil individual destiny and become a living wonder in our world.  God desires that Christ is well represented on earth through the church (you and I) who is the bride of Christ. Mar 16:15-20,

Jesus therefore commissioned us to engage in kingdom business and operate in the supernatural power of God in order to produce visible proofs of untold possibilities by the power of the Holy Spirit.  For Jesus said to His disciples“…as the Father has sent Me, so I have also send you and when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit”, indicating that our spiritual life can only be derived from Jesus who is the Word of God and our ability to accomplish untold possibilities can only be sourced through the enabling power of the Holy Spirit.  The question is, how has the Father sent Jesus and how did he achieve the untold possibilities? Joh 20:21-22, Joh 1:1-4

Jesus was a product of the Holy Spirit and the presence of the Holy Spirit was evident in the life of Jesus for he was continually led by the Holy Spirit.  He was divinely approved by God at baptism as the Holy Spirit descended upon him like a dove. He was filled with the Holy Spirit; He prevailed over temptation in the wilderness by the word of God and was distinguished through supernatural operations of signs and wonders following. He returned to Galilee in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible confirms that Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit and Power and He went everywhere doing good healing all those who were possessed by the devil for God was with him.  He accomplished untold possibilities through the Word of God and by the power of Holy Spirit. Luk 1: 35, Mat 3:16-17, Luke 4:1-14, Act 10:38, Joh 6:63

So the church’s ability to achieve untold possibilities and be brought out of the obscurity of timidity and powerlessness; to achieve untold results in the issues of the kingdom, in our destiny, businesses, careers, marriage, academic etc so much depends on our interaction with the divine light of God’s word and the enabling power of the Holy Ghost. Why?

We have been born again and received the power of sonship by the incorruptible seed of the word of God that lives and abide forever.  The church in Jerusalem was born as the disciples of Jesus were baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire; which transformed timid men to bold men making them instruments of untold possibilities, declaring the message of the cross fearlessly without shame and thus, drawing 3000 men to the kingdom of God in one day.  They walked in supernatural power with signs and wonders, fulfilling the word of Jesus as they became true witnesses and ambassadors of Christ on earth.  God’s promise through His word which is the believer’s heritage, gave you and I, the church, authority and power to produce signs and wonders as He did through the Apostles as they were continually filled with the Holy Ghost and with Power. 1 Pet 1:23, Joh 1:12. Act 1:8, Act 2, and Act 4:8, 29-31.

Beloved, to do the works of Jesus and achieve untold possibilities, we need to follow the pattern of Jesus and that of the Apostles, in continued study of the word of God, in prayer and by the in-filling of the Holy Spirit, where the gifts and manifestation of the Holy Spirit finds expression in and through our lives for our common good. If not now, when?  Stop subcontracting your responsibility to others, it is time to not just talk the talk, but walk the walk, the disciples were called “Christians” in Antioch because they looked like Christ, operating and doing supernatural exploits and accomplishing untold possibilities like Jesus.  For you and I have been commissioned to do greater works and the time to start is now, let’s go.   1 Cor 12:6-7, Act 11:26.

Consider this:

“Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son” [Joh 14:11-13 NIV]

His parents were religious, and he was raised in the church, went to church with the crowd but never knows or acknowledges the God of the church.  He is well aware of the national and world statistics about the impact of smoking on life, family expenses and human health, but guys in his school, office, and in the neighborhood are doing it, so are his friends. He thought he could try it out but never know that it could be an unending fix from hell. His friends told him that all type of smoking feels great and gives its victims an internal high feeling without a change in their physical stature regardless of what it was they were smoking. He assumed that putting a cigarette, cigar or weed in his mouth, holding and flicking the lighter for the first time is a proof of adulthood and evidence of been in charge without knowing that he had been sold a lie.

Even though he had seen and could hear the voice of ex-smokers from their hellish experiences on earth who were agonising and suffering in the hand of the toxic of nicotine released into their bodies from smoking but they wish had never had a first stab at the destructive, killing habits or those crying from their grave like the rich man in hell saying to the smokers, don’t have a go at it, so that you don’t journey to the route of diminishing sense of smell and taste, smokers cough, chronic bronchitis, heart disease and other related health issues they were facing but it was  too late for they were on their way out or dead.

Yet he believed in his friends rather than the voice of those sufferers, assuming that he is strong enough to deal with the first itching in his lungs or coughing hoping that once he can get going, he would be sailing on the pleasure of smoking rather than its related pain.  Little did he know that what started off as an offer from friends without any associated cost, apart from what he considered the likely risk of coughing could invariably cause a long-term damage.

It started free, but he never knew that the prize of addiction to nicotine could outweigh its price; the immediate pleasure of smoking could outweigh the long term pain caused by pollution or corrosion to his clean, clear and unpolluted lungs.  He is now hooked up to that destructive habit, what he thought could not have a negative impact on him has inflicted all manner of affliction on his lifestyle, health and he has receded in a world of his own but crying out for help and a way-out.  What is the way out?

Like others, he tried his hand on the patches and continued with an unending investment on patches that never delivered the expected result.  Just like it sounds, patch of whatever sort is like casting out the devil with the spirit of Beelzebub, sewing of a new garment into an old garment for both to eventually tear, solving internal problem with external means which is not out rightly wrong as a methodology for cure but worse, as the provided solution is not nicotine free but adds small doses of nicotine externally to the blood stream rather than inhaling the nicotine via smoking with the hope of dealing with the withdrawal symptoms.  The medical solution has not produced and will never produce a 100% cure to the nicotine addicts. Why patching it, it’s not working, Stop it!’

It is not an issue affecting one or many it is a national crisis, for statistics documented by “Vanderbilt University Health Psychology home document an article on ‘The Real story behind the Nicotine Patch and Smoking Cessation By: Amy Renshaw” shows that 500,000 North Americans die each year of smoking related diseases and that smoking cuts life expectancy by more than 14 years, yet more than 1/3 of the adult population of the world (1.1 billion) continues this addictive and dangerous habit” while “Statistics on smoking, England – 2013 [NS] Publication dated 15th August 2013 key facts” confirmed that UK household expenditure on tobacco has more than trebled from £4.8 billion in 1980 to £18.7 billion in 2012. There were approximately 1.6 million hospital admissions, in England in 2011/12, among adults aged 35 and over with a primary diagnosis of a disease that can be caused by smoking. Embrace internal cleansing and freedom by continued study of the Word of God and be filled with the Holy Spirit for your body is now the temple of God and the spirit of God is in you.  So your body does not need to polluted or defiled any more by the desire of the fleshly habits that could lead into sickness, destruction and death. Joh 8:32-36, 1 Cor 6:19-20

For it is a trying period, even though it looks dark there is a need to “turn on the light”.  Why? A man would remain in a state of darkness with persisted problems until the light of God’s revealed word is located by him and the truth of God’s word is embraced in the area of concern. God’s supernatural ability needed to prevail over the circumstances, or to address the issues of concern, resolve the problem and secure the right answer for the question is only available through the sent word of God.  So the light of God’s word must be turned on.

Life issues are not peculiar only to her victim neither would it be, for there is no temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.  The way out of the issues is available through the Revealed word of God, but every man must take responsibility to turn on the light of God’s word in the area of their issues. 1 Cor 10:13

The word was present at creation, all things were created by the word including you and I, and in God’s word was the light that gave light to all mankind, the light of God’s word cannot be subdued by darkness.  As the physical light, when turned on terminates the darkness so also would the light of God’s word eliminates the issues of concern if located through divine revelation, received, believed and applied to the issues of concern . Joseph remained in the prison until his word came to pass.  Joh 1:1-5, Psa 105: 17-22

Beloved, rather than been overwhelmed with the issues of concern, turn the light on and terminate the darkness related to your issue, connect with the revealed word of God through Christ. Search the scriptures to locate what has been written concerning your issues, believe the word, receive it, pray through the word, and apply the word to the issues of concern for a change of story and supernatural turnaround.  Psa 119:18, Joh 5:39, Joh 8:12, 1 Tim 1: 18, Psa 78:14, Psa 107:20

Passing through the mini grocery store, it is so obvious through the shop window, many turn the other eye but walking into the mall it is well placed towards the entrance, so that all that pass through the kiosk and shopping isles would notice her, she is difficult to miss, for her sketches are visible on the road side commercial billboards, her artwork is in high demand and advertisers have made fortune by using her for product marketing.  Her footage and prints are visible through the night hour when men were meant to rest after their days labour, but the restless men in hotels and in the corner of their own homes stumble into her through the midnight television and satellite programs. The issues of life overwhelm the mind and the excitement of man’s ambitious achievement, fill their minds with thoughts of ‘I have now arrived’ only to tune in to the nightmare channel of the night, the destroyer of life, marriages and destiny, the great polluter and armed robber of good things; the eraser of innocence and  the enemy of righteousness that turned the satellite box that was purchased for pleasure into an object of displeasure, convert the family treasure to  familiar pain, bringing her victim into a life of secrecy, shamefulness, humiliation, a life of lies; making men happy for the moment and on the long run, deluded men of truthfulness, and deprive her victim the God kind of life or having exceeding joy and from obtaining immeasurable success, deriving unimaginable profits, accomplishing indescribable victories and achieving exceeding greatness.  It promises pleasure but it’s a game of enslavement. How?

She is a subject of debates on the street by kids and young adults who have seen her in the schools, learnt about her, she is well spoken of in business meetings and modelled in the board room to boost company image.  Tuning to the radio from work in the evening or at home in the night time, her voice is heard on the radio by the rich, the poor, the fathers and the sons. She is talked about in the high places, it is a free world they said and there should be freedom of speech, views and what men buy with their own money, so it is considered legal not just to behold her, but she can be touched, and could be taken home by those who desire her and are able to afford her price.

She is well presented and modelled through the cat walk, from the “Hollywood” to the “Bollywood” “Nollywood” and the “Nudyworld” of our society by those considered to be “the prim and proper” little do they know that it is an accursed thing. So many innocent kids and young adult who are the future of our nations, our humble brothers and our respected fathers, the loving husband and single men and single parents;  our trusted clergy and lay men, men from different religious sects, wrongly assumed that if she is good for one, she should  be considered good for all.  For those who like her not or choose not to look in her direction or have her as a treasure, she is imposed on them without words; paraded before their eyes with a mission of turning the freemen to her slave men; making them captives without physical chain and lock. They have become victims of mind paralysis, mental instability, sufferers of habitual pain and traumatic experiences, victims of invisible imprisonment and shameful acts.

Though they are still persons with names and fames, they are still the subject matter experts in most professional fields and are still known in the political parties, they are service men on public duties, the parliamentarians, and the physicist in our hospitals, the psychologist, innovators and scientist.  They are known among the religious and non-religious groups; or in our children’s schools, they are still married or divorced or are single men doing business as usual, men living and seen outwardly as the “ok” men but inwardly they are empty inside, for the internal experience does not match the external showbiz.

It is all about faking life to make it look as if they lovingly love the life they live. What a catastrophe! The seller has sold to many the unsellable commodity that entrapped men in the cage of the idol of their own habit, purchased with their own money which was gained from their hard work, or from the reward of their ambitious performance, or stolen from their spouse or from their family, enemies and friends.  They have grabbed the ungrabbeable and touched the untouchable; having seen the unseen able but there is yet a cry in the heart of men from every nation who cares to know from the prison to the palace, calling a question.  How did he get into it and how have we legalised it?

It started with a quick turn to the wrong aisle, he saw and he had a quick glimpse at her, resulting in an instantaneous look, he selected the pop up image, navigated to the page to see the details by drilling down to her image.  He listened to her voice for few seconds; for her appearance is like a rose shrub in the garden without knowing that it is deceptive and could be dangerous.  Her petals from afar is brood and dirt-free, so colourful and the variation of her colours makes it tempting and good to behold, its red like crimson; who would not behold this image he said in his mind. He got attracted to her and thought it was only for the moment but while others admire her shinning, her good looking and her petals from afar, his mere attraction to her has grown to a desire.  He suddenly got hooked up with the look and became devoted to her appearance until that quick nano seconds look progresses to a touch.  Touching her becomes like being snared in a death trap, sentencing his own mind to the prison of a dreadful and deadly habit but yet he took her home without any resistance not knowing the damage that is ahead.  Jos 7:20-21

He went home with her beautiful look in his mind and she became a delight to his soul, whether he is in the public place with a companion of one or many; in the market place or in the business center, in the pub or in the palace, among friends or family he is always physically present but absentminded, for his mind was engulfed and captivated by what his eyes had behold and his hands had touched.  The quick excitement soon turned into an internal torment for her invisible voice of “must have” has so dominated his soul, clouded his reasoning and blinded his eyes from the truth of God’s word.  He dived into the world of uncleanness taking his own money which is the fruit of his labour and the proceeds from his investment to purchase a long term habits, yoking him with a lifestyle of pornography, drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution, mention it… etc.

However, it resulted in the abuse of his own body by embracing the unnatural use of what was given to him by God, developing an uncontrollable appetite and lustful desire that led to an imprisonment that is too shameful to discuss but needed to be maintained by cook or crook.  A gentle, kind hearted man, brother, son or husband, a smart and intelligent entrepreneur becoming a wanderer in the world of confusion; groping in darkness as if it was in noonday.  The once celebrated became the humiliated, the once favoured now swimming in disfavour, the all-time victorious army became defeated in his battle against a low graded army, the armies on horses running from the battle field away from the civilians that are walking bare footed.  He that was once the king of the jungle had become fearful of his prey, the accepted has now become the rejected for he that was once known to be sincere, pure and holy had become polluted and his pollution is having an adverse impact on his life, family and world.  It does not take time for others to give up on him, the wife, the friends, the colleagues, business partners and political allies who were now looking at him from afar; for he has resigned to fate and given up on himself, isolating himself by himself from himself, trading the path of self-denial, and afraid of facing the degradation that landed him in a shameful place and an embarrassing state. Many thought it is over for him so he feels like ending it.  But who is this? 2 Cor 6:14-19, Jos 7:1-12

Beloved, is this you or it resembles the “Achan” in your camp? Does it sound like your son, your brother, your husband or your manager at work? Could this be your enterprise manager, your COO and CEO, the community, national, religious and non-religious leaders who once know the truth but have embraced a lie having grabbed the ungrabbeable, touched the untouchable; having seen the unseen able?

Here is the word of God designed for your deliverance:  “Be strong and courageous, rend your heart and not your garment, return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity”.  It is not over yet, you can let go of the accursed thing, the idol of your habits and return to God for his arms of love is open wide to receive you. And His irresistible power remains strong to destroy the yoke of the habits in your life regardless of what they are and how long you have been entrapped by the same, Mercy is available for you through the blood of Jesus, receive the gift of God’s love to you today, come out of the cage of destructive habits and be made free in Jesus Name.  Jos 1: 6-9, Joe 2:13, Jos 7:20-21, Jam 5:16.

The journey to exceeding greatness with achieving untold possibilities, obtaining immeasurable success and results, deriving unimaginable profits and indescribable victories in varied area of human endeavors’, from the home front to the market place and from the political arena to the business arena is a desire of every man.

Everyone embarks on the journey to greatness, navigating through their varied paths to the desired end of greatness. Some may have started the journey early while others started late, but nothing changes the fact that all men desire to arrive at the same goal of exceeding greatness, in order to take charge or exercise their dominion mandate to be the first achiever, the pace setter and the greatest amongst men where other men serve them, but they are exempted from serving.  Everyone aims and hope for greatness, but not all men reach the end of the goal.   So, egos are bruised, men rage with anger, and become disappointed of their non-achievement, non-attainment or non-arrival at their assumed land of exceeding greatness.

Having embraced the fallacy thought us by motivational speakers, that every man is born great, so many sees themselves as been born great and must become great by all means and at any cost as a result the journey to greatness becomes like a rat race, competitive but not in the context of purpose but according self-ambition, self-gain so they continued running but most men never discover or are able to unravel what it requires to attain untold greatness that has eternal significance.     So, let us see who is on the Journey of greatness; the laid back and the highfliers; how they are running; on low speed or high speed?

Some are laid back but believed in the easy way out and that there is no need to worry, hence embarked on their journey with an attitude of “slow and steady win the race”, assuming that time is on their side.  However long it takes they are sure of reaching their goals; hence they choose to take the slow lane and travel through life on minimum speed of 30miles an hour. The road seems busy and narrow with many checkpoints so the speed is contained but they care less about who is waiting or watching neither are they mindful of eternal plan and purpose, for them all it takes is to keep on keeping on, for they are sure of getting to their goals of greatness and satisfy their ambition to become the first achiever, the first researcher, outstanding husband, the best employee or employer, an outstanding entrepreneur, best politician or best business man.

But the highfliers, soared through life with high enthusiasm, great passion and unequivocal zeal, always jetting on high motion, going through the motor way of life on high speed of 70miles an hour.  The road is wide, the traffic lights are fewer than those travelling on the slow lanes, the vehicle are sound and the driver is focused on reaching the destined destination of greatness whose interpretation is the same as those travelling on low speed regardless of who how they get there.

However, both the laid back and the high fliers have the same life ambition to become great; for greatness to man means superiority in quality, outstanding significance or importance that make others wait on them and while they are free from serving, only to come to the end of their journey and realise the emptiness and the lack of flavour to life when it becomes lonely at the top.  For there has been a disconnection between the great and those that they were meant to serve. Why?

For exceeding greatness is demonstrated through exceeding service and having a servant heart.  “Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason, also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Phil 2:5-11

Nothing just happen; Beloved, wisdom says that man can only achieve untold greatness and arrived at the secured heritage of supernatural untold greatness when we have a good understanding of God’s purpose; embark on the journey of greatness with a servant heart, being motivated by our love for Jesus, having a right attitude that fear God and trembles at his Word. Whether you are in the market place or on the home front, whatsoever you do, you must do it as unto the Lord with an attitude of gratitude with total obedience as you see your opportunity to serve as God’s favour rather than a burden.  For it takes journeying through the service lane in life to arrive at the secured land of exceeding greatness through love, faithfulness and obedience to God’s word. Cutting across many spectrum of today’s global village and her relative issues, misconception and many challenges from the home front to the market place and schools; issues with anti-social behaviours and gang rages due to lack of clear understanding of Gods original purpose for holy matrimony with her related benefits; there have been national misrepresentation and misconstruction of what is good about been married which has resulted in negativities that affect varied classes in the society and has introduced pain and problems into our world that has and is taking efforts, time, money, legal and social process to resolve.  For to raise a good nation, there must be a good community with individuals that come from good families who have cohesive voice and right family values.

Looking closely to our society from the religious and non religious groups or background,  it is obvious that at various stages that some may have stumbled into marriage for diverse and odd reasons, from fantasy of Mills and Boons romance stories, to lovingly loving the idea of been married or getting married because it sounds good and generates a  feel good factor, some may have stumbled into marriage unplanned, unsure, but yet their relationship whether short or long term partnership progresses into marriage because of society pressure, personal gain to be derived from being married; some find themselves in marriage today because they wanted to respond to family demands, lone parents challenges of raising their kids alone, ethical and cultural reasons, age pressure; noises and voices of “I am getting old, and time is going”, medical advices on child bearing and voices of “biological clock” is ticking but without much preparation or clear understanding of God’s purpose for holy matrimony neither an anticipation of the responsibility that comes with been married.

If the truth be told, only those nations, communities, families that understood and hold true to God’s originally intended purpose, values and benefits of marriage are able to model God’s kind of marriage based on God’s kind of love, wisdom and have embraced  God’s principle are able to make their marriages a success and raise their children likewise.  But so many have been in enduring marriages rather than enjoyable marriages, some have or are going through painful process of separation or divorce because of the challenges of building on defective marital foundation that has a serious impact on our community, our nation and our world today.  If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?  Psa 11:3

If you are undergoing the pain, the problem, the shame, the abuse, dejection and rejection and the reproach of dysfunctional marriage and you are overwhelmed with the traumatic process of separation and divorce, don’t throw in the towel; there is good news for you today, your broken heart can be healed for there is a balm in Gilead to soothe and heal the pain of your broken heart.  There is comfort for you today as you turn to the God of all comfort and make peace with God by receiving the gift of love in Christ Jesus and be saved.  Having a readiness to embrace and learn from the divine principle of God’s word with the right character and attitude of a builder to make your marriage a success. 2Cor 10:13

Always remember that God instituted the idea of marriage and the key to build and make it work has been given to you through His word, but you must search through the word of God with a readiness to obey God’s word and allow God’s word to govern and direct your heart in all things and at all times.    For every “wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands. He who walks in his uprightness fears the LORD, but he who is devious in his ways despises Him”.  God is committed to endow you with the untold blessings, wisdom to build and benefits that were instituted by God for your marriage. Prov 25:2, Jer 8:21-22 Pro 14:1

Beloved, your ability to resist the devil’s influence over your marriage or life is determined by and proportional to your total submission to God and His word.  Therefore receive the grace of God that  converts and turns around  your broken, battered marriage or life from an enduring one to an enjoyable life and marriage as a testimony of God’s model of a successful marriage in Jesus name Jer 8:21-22 Pro 14:1, Jam 4:7, Luk 10:19, Psa 18:44-45

• But from the beginning of creation, God made them and female, for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother, and the two shall become one flesh; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate [Mar 10:6-9 NIV]

• In the same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives, as they observe your chaste and respectful behavior. Your adornment must not be merely external– braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.
