Shame Eliminated by the Power of Redemption

The best endeavor of man without the backing of divine power is unlikely to produce a successful result; hence man becomes humiliated, embarrassed and shame becomes inevitable where the expected result is not derived from an endeavor or any kind of investment or where victory is not obtained in a life battle or national war or healing is not obtained from an illness, where there is no hope, where there is no solution to domestic issues or national economic crises, where there is no clarification of purpose or sense of direction, where the produce of the land are not yielding according to expected harvest and ministerial effort is not yielding the desired result.

At creation, the formlessness and voidness created by darkness to promote shame was only eliminated as God by divine power overturn darkness and created light.  The Bible clearly records that man always takes cover whenever they lack power to take charge, until Moses had an encounter with the divine power of God at the burning bush, he remains a shepherd man, and a wonderer in the wilderness for 40years.   Peter’s fishing business suffered unfruitfulness and was unprofitable until he met Jesus who was anointed by power going everywhere doing good healing all those who are possessed by the devil.

The best of mans’ ability or capability is limited without the divine power of God, so also is supernatural exploits impossible without the presence and manifestation of divine power.  Subsequently, accomplishing untold possibilities, walking in the miraculous, achieving exceeding greatness, obtaining immeasurable results, deriving unimaginable profits, having unfathomable discoveries, indescribable riches and astonishing victories that is not subject to man’s ability is impossible without the divine power of God.  Everyone wants the outflow of supernatural exploits through divine power, it is needed by all and can be experienced by all but not everyone has it or experiences it.  Why? Divine power is only available to the redeemed?

To be redeemed you need to receive the gift of God’s love through Christ Jesus which affords you access to the keys of the kingdom and the divine power of God to do supernatural exploits; to eliminate and overcome shame caused by defeat, failure, lack, powerlessness, unprofitable investment, sin, sorrow, lack of favor, ignorance, backwardness, hardship, toiling and poverty.  (Joh 3:16)

Consider this:

  • Say unto God, How terrible [art thou in] thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. All the earth shall worship thee and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing [to] thy name. Selah. Come and see the works of God: [he is] terrible [in his] doing toward the children of men. He turned the sea into dry [land]: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him. He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah. [Psa 66:3-7 KJV]
  • But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: [Joh 1:12 KJV]

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. [John 14:12 KJV]

Her Well is Deep

The pageant of ladies were called, from choice homes, ladies with very good background, who could boast of great achievement, their visible beauty and countenances, their smartness and intelligence for they are well resourced with adornment of gold, adornment of silver, their assumed right garment was cut to fit to make them pleasing to the king and guarantees their eligibility for the position in the palace.  But right in the midst of the elegant, the beautiful, wisdom places in the midst of them, one that is wise hearted but looks unqualified, humble hearted and from a humble beginning, with no father or mother but who knows the father of all fathers who is God.  She is considered by men and her background illegible but qualified by God who made her eligible for the first round of selection, she is well aware that her beginning may be small but her later end shall greatly increase because wisdom is justified by her children.

She came into an unfamiliar territory from her little home to be listed for procession in the palace, while others are boasting in their physical strength and capability, displaying their garments, and what in the sight of man makes them stand out and right for the position.  She was not intimidated by what others had, even though she had nothing to display outwardly but she had an inner beauty of the heart.  She could only boast in her weakness so that the power of God may dwell richly in her, so she gave her all in quietness and meekness, she was obedient to instructions and serves without minding what was in it for her or the outcome of the competition. 2 Cor 11:16

She is a lover of God rather than a lover of man, in her speech she attracted the meek in heart and she obtained kindness in the sight of the humble and gentlemen.  When it was her turn to be made ready for the procession, she relied not on herself or her ability for she is not self-conscious but God conscious.  She found favor with God and with man, while others were placing demand for stuff; she made her request to God, who moved on man to give unto her what she needed to get her to where she had never been, for she had not passed through this way before.  While others are insatiable with what they were given and were asking for more, she remained contented with what she was given.

The pageants appear before the kings according to their scheduled procession, but like vapor, there memory soon faded away and they became history, for they were self-seekers whose boasting is in themselves and their stuff, they were aiming for the crown without readiness to pay the price, so they met with no crown.   Oh, what a tragedy, that the world of a fool is only written on their grave, the world is denied of their gifting and their grace.  But when she that is wise hearted was presented to the king, her simplicity, gentleness, kindness, inner beauty of wisdom was noticeable in her parade, the aroma that she exhumes from her noble and godly character remains a delight to the king.  The parade finished but, yet she left her handwriting on the wall of the kings’ heart and her imprint on the sand of the palace with all that met her.

The king saw her as a true and genuine lover in replacement of the arrogant, disobedient and prideful Vashti. She was teachable and receptive to instruction but increased in learning.  She possessed insight and able to adapt with grace in the position of honour as if she was born into the palace.  Even though she took in little but gave out more, for there was a deep well of untold discoveries that coming in to the palace find expression through the outflow of wisdom, that manifested in riches, strength, honour, power, blessings, untold greatness, indescribable achievement for her noble character pleases the king.  She was wise hearted and therefore was enabled by the character of her wisdom that is from above, hence as a kingdom seeker and a risk taker, she had respect for reproof, counsel and corrections, she was a keeper of secrets, so gracious and so she became a cut above the rest and was preferred among her competitors.  The king embraced her and put a royal garment on her, she was promoted beyond measure, for Wisdom qualified her.  James 3:17, Esther 2

Consider this:

  • And thou shalt speak unto all [that are] wise hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron’s garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office. Exodus 28:3
  • And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship; Exodus 35:31.

Give [instruction] to a wise [man], and he will be yet wiser: teach a just [man], and he will increase in learning. The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy [is] understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. Pro 9:9-11

Do You Know Her or Could this be you?

From afar off many see her who is so beautiful and elegant, but they have never thought that looks can be deceptive. She speaks with confidence, she is ever so thorough, she never goes out unprepared, she ensures that all her vowels are well placed, and she dots all her I’s. Wao! It’s so tempting, who would not want her?  She is the choice of most men (young and old, great and small), the princes look for her and the nobles of the land are on procession to seek her out.  One asks another about her, calling a question, what do you think?  She is the desire of the smart, intelligent and ambitious but not purpose oriented or kingdom minded men.

Many enterprises search without end only to find her who fits their criterion, one who is a good tool for company image, the corporate marketing preparation is incomplete until she displays her parade, no decision is made in the board room without her approval, she is seen as the possessor of knowledge even though she lacks revelation knowledge, she has a knowhow of all trade but never possess the heart of wisdom.

When she is hired by the entrepreneurs, or brought home by the nobles, the princes and the young men who were vulnerable by her look, her speech, her stepping, and her soft touch, those who were in a hurry to bring her home without looking deep into her heart, mere men who get carried away by the appearance rather than the heart.  In a matter of time, they find out how prideful, unteachable, unreceptive of instruction, untamable, unreachable and un-guidable she is, having information but there is no depth of knowledge, she is like a bird that metamorphoses to what men want and not what men need, for the needs of man can only be met and supplied by God.

She is always taking but never giving back, ‘like begat like’, her prey are men who were lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God, dishonest men, self-seekers, whose merchant services take advantage of the poor, they are users and abusers of people, product, charismatic men who lack godly character, promoters of injustices, undisciplined and ambitious men who are always looking for the approval of man rather than the approval of God.

She is embraced by all that wants her including nations, kings, men in the pew and on the pulpit, those who priorities things and what needs fixing rather than the fixer of all things who is God.  If her knowledge and her connection in the market place, in the palace and in the nation will bring them to their ambitious end rather than to divine purpose or achieving the divine goal.  They have never considered the possessor of all Knowledge who is God neither have they sought after Him.  So, they accept her and all her services, but it has only given them the stuff that is available in the now but had no sustaining grace for the future or ability to live a life that is pleasing to God. They become fools in the hand of a fool.  Embracing all she gives is trading away nations’ tomorrow today, gaining today what becomes a loss of tomorrow, they get the applaud of men but are disapproved of God. Indeed they have gained material things (the cars, houses, wives, fame, money, prestige, connections, businesses, political appointments etc.) that the world values but only to find out that all this while they have embarked on the wrong journey taking the wrong turns, where the heart of men will fail them for fear, men whose final destination is death and destruction, for they have never secured their eternity with God.

This is what wisdom says; it is better to embrace wisdom than to embrace gold; to get understanding rather than to choose silver. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?  Jesus advice to you and I is “Take care and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions”.

Friend, it is not too late, if you know her or you have been a companion of fool, you can disengage from her today, but if she looks or sounds like you, you can rid yourself of her foolishness and embrace the wisdom of God.   After all, in your returning to God is your rest.  Follow after Jesus word’s there is life and all that you need to have your needs met is in it.  Be a kingdom seeker today and embrace eternal life in Christ Jesus.  Prov 16:16, Mar 8:36, Luke 12:15

Consider this:

  • Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. [Pro 4:7]

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need”[Mat 6:33]

It’s Wisdom’s Call

God in His Wisdom extended his arms of love to all of human race through Christ. it is an open invitation so everyone can come, regardless of their state whether broken, battered, busted or their profession, character, achievement, the trouble or the issue confronting the individual or in spite of their background, whether it’s colorful, coded and not so good background, all can come, for the blood of Jesus is strong enough, powerful for the cleansing of the soul and the transformation of the heart.  For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. Yes, the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. So the price of love that was paid through the shedding of the blood of Jesus covers all the fault of man, for when we were yet without strength (sinners) in due time Christ died for the ungodly, so provided you are willing to return to Christ, you can have a new start today.  Wisdom says “RETURN NOW” for tomorrow may be late.  John 3:16, Rom 6:23, Rom 5:6

Friend, you have once known Christ and you were saved but went away from him, such that what you knew in the light or taught in church or through the word of God, was denied through the darkness of the night, you might still be standing and going with the multitude to the religious functions or to perform spiritual duties, you may  still be singing in the Choir, ushering, working in the children department, you are still the Pastor’s PA, an elder or an intercessor, you possibly are still sitting among the saints on the pew or ministering on the Pulpit but only you know that you are far off while others thought you were still on the Lords side, for you who have been written off by men or you have condemned yourself because of how much you have broken the heart of God who loved you like Peter.  Wisdom is calling you, to be reconciled to God today.

For you, it might seem as if no one understand the misfortune that you have gone through, or are going through such that it has affected your perception about life and God, assuming you do not deserve what you are currently experiencing, or possibly are thinking that what you worth or deserved has deluded you and you are angry with the world or with God or in God.   The Love of the God is still extended to you today, and you can still return back to Christ instead of standing aloof.   If you have become lukewarm or there is no longer love in your heart, for you seem to have lost the passion and zeal for God, or the hunger and thirst for God’s Word. Even if you have lost the prayer fire but you still have the form of Godliness, but you shake yourself like Samson but could not feel the fire or power again.  Beloved you can still return to your God, provided you are sorry for the actions or attitudes that have taking you away from him, and ask for God’s forgiveness; God’s grace is big enough to bring you back into right standing with Him”, but where sin abounded, grace abounded much more.  So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord”.  Rom 5:20b-21

Consider this:

  • “I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! 16 But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! 17 You say, ‘I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. 18 So I advise you to buy gold from me–gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness and ointment for your eyes, so you will be able to see. 19 I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference. 20 “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. “[Rev 3:15-20 NLT]

The Way of Wisdom

I have taking trips and journey through many ways to many destinations but only to find out that there is only one ‘WAY’ to ‘LIFE’. Man claim to have truths but there is only one called ‘THE TRUTH’, Some say you only live life once, Others says their best life is now but what they consider their best remains undefined because the true meaning to life is unknown. So many live there today as if there is no tomorrow, being ignorant of divine purpose is like running an unknown race with undefined goals.  However, Life is only worth living and it would carry with it a tangible meaning, when you come to him who is ‘LIFE’.  Tell me more about Him, the Way, the Truth and the Life.

The Way is not just the route, but the Way will bring you to the dwelling place of the Most High, the safest place for the mother and her seed in her womb; dreams are conceived there, purpose are discovered there, mysteries are unraveled there, destiny find expressions there.  After all, some friends embarked and journeyed to the open place, for it is broad, it is like a well-watered garden: its grass looks green to the eyes, but only He that dwell in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  There is rest there from restlessness, hope for the hopeless, help for the helpless, joy is there for the sorrowful heart, its well is deep and never runs dry, its river streams, make glad the city of the Lord, its light enlighten the soul.  ‘Jesus is the WAY’

He is not a truth but ‘THE TRUTH’, His word strengthens the weak and raises the dead, the universe is created and sustained by Him, He leads in the way of Truth those who wait on him, His words are right and all His works are done in truth, His pathway are of Mercy to those who keep His covenant, He is God of truth without iniquity, there is no injustice with him. Do you know Him? If not, do you want to know Him?  If you have known Him, you can still know Him more?

He can be introduced to some and be embraced by those who already knew him, Wisdom has no voice without Him, His voice is in the market place, he speaks on the home front, His voice is in the palace and we hear Him speak from the pulpit, His voice is heard in the schools and on the sea shore, His voice breaks the cedar of Lebanon, He calls those who are His and leads them out, walking the Walk is impossible without Him, none of His sheep can go out without him, so He goes ahead of his sheep and they follow him because they know his voice, the voice of the stranger they shall not follow, knowing that all flesh is like grass, the grass withers, and the flower falls off. But the Word of the Lord endures forever. Jesus is ‘THE TRUTH’.

He that loveth his own life without embracing ‘THE LIFE’ is like living a life that has no life, for to be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  He is the tree of life to those who found him, “At least there is hope for a tree: When it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and its shoots will not fail though its roots grow old in the ground And its stump dies in the dry soil, At the scent of water it will flourish And put forth sprigs like a plant”.  He is the breath of life, making man a living soul.  He is the river of life to those who drink of Him, wherever this river flows, everything there lives again. An encounter with him is an encounter with LIFE itself, living to know him makes real the LIFE that He gave for you and I, and such a love that he bestows on us that we should be called his children.  Living for him is embracing LIFE that has no end.  Paul says “For through the Law I died to the Law, so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me”. Job 14:7, Gal 2:20

This is the Way of Wisdom, think of these things. Selah!

Consider this:

  • Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” [Joh 14:6-7]
  • And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do [exploits]. [Dan 11:32 KJV]
  • And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart. [Jer 29:13 KJV]
  • When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, some [say that thou art] John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, but who say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.   And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.  And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ. [Mat 16:13-20 KJV]
  • Get wisdom, get understanding: forget [it] not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many. I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straightened; and when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. Take fast hold of instruction; let [her] not go: keep her; for she [is] thy life. [Pro 4:5-13 KJV]

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. [1Cr 1:24 KJV]

Gaining Supremacy through Servant-hood

Supremacy is desired by everyone, but the pattern of leadership demonstrated through Christ is that of servant-hood, saying “If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all and servant of all”.    Although, John testified of Christ as the one who is from heaven to be above all, and his dominion is everlasting, Jesus fulfilled all righteousness by choosing to obey God and be baptized by John, who is lower in rank according to divine task given to him to prepare the way for Jesus.  And being found in the appearance as a man, Christ humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestow on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. God has raised us up with him and seated us in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus.  But what manner of wisdom, love and humility is this?

Jesus faces death for all of human race despite the fact that he has power over death. In his humanity, he was tempted in every way just as we are, but yet he was without sin even though he was a son he learned obedience through the things that he suffered, showing to you and I that the way to life is death, and the way to Godly supremacy and divine wisdom is through obedience to God’s word and willingness to serve God and one another. Phi 2:7-10, Eph 2:6, Heb 4:15b, 5:8

The psalmist says, “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, and human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet”. So having given us authority and power over everything and all operations of the devil, It is expedient to note that the expectation of Jesus for every Believer is that whatever is subjected to Jesus must be subjected to us. Psa 8:5-6, Luk 10:19

In order to walk in our God given authority and power to rule and reign as Kings and priest unto our God, we must be willing and ready to go the way of the cross, aligning ourselves to the word of God, for a servant could not be greater than his master. So we need to humble ourselves and become submissive to the authority of God’s word, such that the power and wisdom for supremacy without contention can be made visible in and through our lives such that we can do exploits

Consider this:

  • 13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. 14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer [it to be so] now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him. [Mat 3:13-15 KJV]
  • Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; [Heb 5:8 KJV]
  • For we have not an high priest which could not be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. [Heb 4:15 KJV]
  • And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. [Rev 5:10 KJV]

If we suffer, we shall also reign with [him]: if we deny [him], he also will [2Tim 2:12 KJV]

It’s a Secret, you can search it out!

From generation to generation, the wisdom acquired by man through training, life experiences, research has been explored to find solution, build structures, plant seeds and grow trees, excel in trading, harvest crops, discover treasures and obtain return on investment provided the required platform to access the needed information is identified.

The world has become a global village where, finding and exchanging information is prevalent provided you have clearly defined parameters for your search; such as type of information, defined target and source of information, specify time frame, and how the information needed should be applied.  In most cases, man has not been able to articulate the needs, but where parameters have been well defined, and the enablers are available (time, money, people, platform, processes etc.) information can be purchased, derived through research, feasibility study, and sharable through diverse technical or social platforms, such as cloud, intranet and internet, television, radio, journals, books and social media and network.

Today, so much has been achieved on earth through man’s wisdom by engaging the miners of silver, the refiners of gold, the diggers of iron, the smelters’ of brass, inventers of electricity, by medical scientist, agriculturist, theologians, zoologist, aeronautical and Astronautical engineering making navigation through the earth and outside the earth possible.  Through it all, man has been able to secure information that is considered valuable and profiting which provides clarification and answers to questions, solve medical, social, religious, political, economic and tourism problems on domestic, local, national and international level by utilising, divers skills and experiences to help the human race in solving problems, addressing issues and uncovering treasures (e.g. oil and gas, minerals and precious stones) that lies under the earth or in the way of the sea.

The needs of mankind are enormous but there are yet questions to be answered, issues to be addressed and problems to be solved however, man is yet to discover the “WHATSOEVER THAT PASSETH THROUGH THE PATH OF THE SEA”, WHY?  “These are treasures no bird of prey can see, no falcon’s eye observes.  No wild animal has walked upon these treasures; no lion has ever set his paw there”.  Job 28:7-8

They are mysteries yet to be unraveled, enigma yet to be resolved, depth of riches to be discovered, hidden treasures to be tapped but they could not be bought with gold or any amount of silver neither can they be acquired through the wisdom of this world or purchased with money.

For it is hidden from the eyes of all living, and knowledge of it is withheld from the birds of the heavens, the place of death and destruction have heard the report of it with the hearing of the ear, but yet the way of wisdom is only known to God.  For all things on the earth and underneath the earth, both visible and invisible are created by God and known to him.  They are searchable through Supernatural exploits of Divine power and Divine Wisdom”.  Job 28: 21-24

Beloved Brethren, creation is waiting on us for the story yet untold, the mysteries yet unraveled and the problems yet unsolved, for we have been made kings and priest unto our God; the wait is over now! “It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings to search it out” Prov 25:2.  Rev 5:10

Are You Ready to Search It Out?

Yes, you can if you have received the gift of God’s love through Christ who is God’s power and God’s wisdom to those called by God unto Salvation regardless of their race, gender, professional and social background. And if you are ready to cry out for Divine Wisdom as silver and search for her like hidden treasure, for it could not be acquired or read, it can only be revealed to those who believe by the Holy Spirit, through the Word of God. Joh 3:16,  1 Cor 1:24, Prov 2:1-4.

Consider this:

Wisdom of the World:

  • Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.” So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours, [1Cr 3:18-21 NIV]

Extended Invitation to Do Exploit With the Proceeds of Wisdom

  • Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? … 4 “To you, O people, I call out; I raise my voice to all mankind. 5 You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, set your hearts on it. 6 Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right. … 10 Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, 11 for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her. … 13 To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. 14 Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have insight, I have power. 15 By me kings reign and rulers issue decrees that are just; 16 by me princes govern, and nobles–all who rule on earth. 17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. 18 With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity. 19 My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver. 20 I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, 21 bestowing a rich inheritance on those who love me and making their treasuries full. … 32 “Now then, my children, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways. 33 Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not disregard it. 34 Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. 35 For those who find me find life and receive favor from the LORD. [Pro 8:1, 4-6, 10-11, 13-21, 32-35 NIV]

Christ The Wisdom of God to Them That Believe:

  • “but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. 26 Brothers and sisters think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. 27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things–and the things that are not–to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God–that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. 31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” [1Cor 1:24-31 NIV]

Builder & Building Construction Test

Every edifice built by man continues to be visible in our world today as nations, cities, enterprise, family homes, hospitals, trade center, financial institutions, parliamentary buildings, homeless units, schools, clubs, mosque, temples and churches etc.  All edifices are designed to suit a unique purpose and are constructed to meet definite need.

To-date, the pattern at creation remains unchanged, for at the beginning structures were in place, before the first man (Adam) was created in the image of God and after His likeness that was situated in the edifice (Garden of Eden) to fellowship with God.  Adam was given divine instruction to take charge of the garden, cultivate it and eat from the produce of the land, except the tree of knowledge of good and evil.   It is therefore important to note that every house is built by someone, but the builder and the maker of all things is God. Gen 2:7-17, Heb 3:4

 Master Architectural Pattern:

God designs and construct the structure as the Master Architect, so that it can be fit for purpose and fulfill His eternal plan, until the created man became susceptible to cunning devices of the serpent and pursue after knowledge of good and evil rather than the knowledge of God.  But thanks to God that initiates the program of redemption through Christ Jesus for the recovery of the glory that was lost in Adam.  So till date, Christ remains the only hope of Glory to mankind Gen 2:17

It is time to call a question as Co-laborers of God, how are you building and according to whose pattern?  As laborers together with God trusted with the building of the Church (Believers in Christ), it is important to be well acquainted with the Master Architect eternal plan, and so build according to God’s pattern.

What is God’s Building on Earth?

God is building a spiritual house on earth today, not houses made with mortal and bricks.   The materials for the construction of spiritual house are not perishable material, such house built with precious stones rather than hay and straw are the ones that can stand the test of time, fulfilling the purpose of God on earth and so abide with him forever.

What must I do to ensure I am well built up in Christ?

To be well built on the foundation of Christ, you have to come to the realization of God’s love for you through Christ Jesus, so that you can surrender your life to Christ for total re-construction as God’s workmanship re-created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should work in them.

Consider this:

  • “For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” 1 Cor 3:9-15
  • “You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” 1 Pet 2:5.

Let’s talk about it

Money matters, everyone talks about it, why not you? It is spoken of from the grass root to the glass house, and its voice is heard from the home front to the market place, the poor talks about it so also does the rich.  Men are in Business because of it, for some it is outflow of their hard work, for the hand of the diligent makes fat. So much can be done with it from the home front to the nations, it answers to the bills and it is given as an exchange for goods. Even though it is good and nice to have and needed for our everyday use it does not provide an answer to the redemption of the soul. The soul of man has not been redeemed by perishable things like silver or gold but by the blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot. Ecclesiastes 10:19, I Peter 1:18-19

Abuse of money is inevitable when man lacks the understanding of money, hence it is not surprising that ignorant and covetous men in our days had become lovers of money rather than users of the same, they have become slaves of money; marriages are troubled and divorce is on the increase because of it, families are at logger heads, nations, cities and communities have suffered and some are still going through an un-ending unrest and wars because of money issues, while many have become victims of national disaster, rape, abuse and social degradation all because of money matters.  Why?

The mindset of many had become not only captivated by the thought of money, but men were enslaved by the power of mammon. What was meant to be an instrument of exchange for goods, if put into its rightful use had become an instrument of cruelty, atrocities, weapon of mass destruction by those who had become lovers of it.  To some, life is not worth living when there is no money, having forgotten that the life of a man is not defined by the abundance of his possession. Their pursuit of money, and desire to acquire more and more wealth become unquenchable, how it is acquired matters no longer to covetous men who have embraced the spirit of this world rather than the spirit of God, they are not careful about how it is derived or acquired, whether they have to steal, cheat others to collect more than their portion, kill so that they may achieve their desired wealth, regardless of who they are or known as in the society or how they are placed from the palace to the marketplace, from the pew to the pulpit but their lovingly loving money had become a driving force, rather than their love for God.

Many have engaged in the act of wickedness, shedding blood of another without batting an eyelid, joining occultic group and practicing witchcraft, bowing down to idols or looting treasuries of cities, churches and nations, killing friends, enemies, families, and wasting life in the religious places just to meet the demand of the spirit of mammon, and to satisfy the insatiable appetite of acquiring wealth by hook or crook, the more they have, the more they needed to have, it was considered the needed tool to be in power and remain in power for many.

The voice of money speaks volumes to ambitious men who are driven and motivated by material substance rather than their destiny, to some, the voice of money speaks louder than the voice of integrity, loyalty, honesty, commitment and truthfulness, which is of more value than money or wealth that could appear today and disappear tomorrow, “For wealth certainly makes itself wings like an eagle and flies to the heavens” Proverb 23:4-5.  What a tragedy?   Friends let us think and talk about the “money matters”, from our governing bodies to our church pew and the pulpit;

Nations have been enslaved, men have been harassed, polluted, wasted and had become victims of governing authorities who refuse to let go of their position of authorities at the end of their service time or tenure in office, not because of their love for their nation, her people, or because of their commitment to lift up the damage of poverty over their land or change the misconception of other nations about their sphere of influence, neither were they seeking for another term in office in order to add value to their nation and her people.  Their eyes are on looting and emptying the remaining treasures of the land. Others may have taken some, but they embarked on taking all, assuming that the strength of their rulership or governorship is determined by the amount of wealth they have or could acquire or accrued, so what they met full they have left empty.  Until they are deceased, the magnitude of their lustful and greedy appetite remains unknown. They forget that we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. Let us think on these things.  1 Timothy 6:7

What about from the pew to the pulpit, the clergy man or those trusted to be servants of the Most High God, men considered to be lovers of Jesus, keepers of the treasures in the treasury of the church, holders of the purse that has the Lord’s money in it but have given their soul to the spirit of belial, to deceit and have become subjected to the devil who is the father of all lies, men who do not just help themselves with what is in the treasury of the Holy place (the church) but had become unaccountable; unfaithful men, the true sons of Eli, unruly men who intercept the offerings that belongs to God but choose the best portion for themselves, men who were no longer heavenly minded, but have their conversation only on the things that are here and now, they have become the Judas’s of our days who is not afraid about trading their salvation to acquire wealth or satisfy their lustful and insatiable appetite for money, wealth and power rather than being kingdom minded.

What shall we say to these things? they are men and women whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame; men who are passionate and consumed only with their desires, their gain, and what is in it for them, merchants of the gospel, rather than bearers of the cross and messengers of good news; men who have stopped looking to the all sufficient God,   who is the meeter of all needs, Jesus the son of the Living God, the one who became poor that we may become rich through his poverty.  Jesus, who through His life, death and resurrection secured for you and I, untold riches. For His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertains unto life (what we need to live while on this earth and our eternal home with the saviour) and godliness through the knowledge of Him that called us to glory and virtue.  Beloved, this untold kingdom riches is available to every believer in Christ Jesus, many knows about it, it could be accessible to every believer, but many have lived and die and never had access to the true riches of the kingdom.  Why?  Philippians 3:18-19, Genesis 17:1, 2 Corinthians 8:9, 2 Peter 1:3

For the true riches of the kingdom is a mystery uncovered to the seekers of the kingdom of God, men and women who are kingdom minded and who do prioritized the matters of the kingdom above their personal agenda and mission, those who are mindful of the governorship and rulership of God who is the King of the kingdom, men who have left all to pursue the advancement and establishment of God’s kingdom on earth, would undoubtedly have and gain access to supernatural wealth of untold riches which is available to every believer.

Kingdom riches are seen and accessible by those who know, embrace and live by kingdom principles, for the riches and the treasures of darkness that was secured for every believer in Christ Jesus, are not found in the open place as those who sell the doves in the temple but seem to have thought that the profits of doves is commensurate with true riches in Christ Jesus.    The true riches of the kingdom provides both what monies can buy and spiritual treasures that money cannot buy, so it is not limited to accrued wealth or money, or what was gathered or hidden in the vault of some nations bank.

Having money or wealth is not after all a crime or bad in itself, for it is the desire of God that you and I should prosper and be in health as our soul prospers. Prosperity must be an outflow of our righteous living and walking with God, for “the generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself”.  However, the accrual of wealth in any way without the knowledge of or an encounter with “The Truth”, is like sailing on the ocean of vanity which would invariably lead to nothing but vanity of vanities.   So men who were so rich in our days, smart and intelligent, prominent men with promising future, who have acquired money without an understanding of the truth, men who lived life only on substance, as if it starts and ends on earth had become condescending and obnoxious of life; they engaged in destructive habits that ended up in depression, drinking and drug abuse, angry men who in spite of their accrued wealth, take their own lives, living behind for others or in national vaults of banks what they have gathered in their life time.  What a catastrophe. 3 John 3:2, Proverbs 11:25, Ecclesiastes 12:8, 1 Timothy 6:17

Beloved, let us hear the conclusion of the whole money and wealth matter, true untold kingdom riches is still available today for kingdom stewards who will give their all to God, “like a treasure hidden in a field; which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like merchant seeking fine pearls, and upon finding one pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it”. As the covetous men (the Pharisees) who were lovers of money more than lovers of God sneered at, despised, mocked and laughed at the words of Jesus then, some are still doing it in our days but the truth remains unchanged that “You and I cannot serve both God and money”.  Matthew 6:24

The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. The word of Jesus must remain resounding in our hearts as we continue to search through the scriptures and lay hold on what is written for us in Christ Jesus, we would access untold riches, divine treasures of “indescribable value” that cannot be acquired by our natural talent or man-made wisdom or smartness but that is only accessible to us though divine revelation and the power of the Holy Ghost. Remember “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings to search out a matter”.  Having been made a kingdom and priests unto our God, we must begin to dig deep into the word of God, in order to locate what has been written of us.  Beloved, we must stop sailing in the shallow waters of ‘do it for me businesses’ or stand aloof from our kingdom pursuit. You and I must come between the porch and the altar, rendering our hearts and not just our garments, having the form of godliness but in denial of true kingdom power, as we diligently cry out to God for insight and access into the kingdom heritage secured for us by Christ Jesus. Matthew 13:44-45, Luke 16:13-14, Romans 14:17, John 5:39, Proverbs 25:2, Revelation 5:10, 14,

Consider this:

  • For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. [2Corinthians 8:9 KJV]
  • Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. [3John 1:2 KJV]
  • For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. [Romans 14:17 KJV]
  • But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. Let us think on these things? [1 Timothy 6:6-8 NIV]
  • Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? [Mat 16:24-26 KJV]

From Pain into Gain

From a humble background. Three siblings struggling to make sense out of life with no parental guidance, love, care or input.  Lazarus and his two sisters were considered the scum of the society; Everyone in the community where they lived knew them as destitute who begged and engaged in ignoble works to survive, not having enough to eat or wear; facing the harsh realities of life all alone.

They have had no connection with the noble neither were they known to the kings but, yet they were known in their village and the community as strugglers. They knew what it meant not to have enough or none at all.  Rather than moaning and groaning about the economic crisis in the city or be overwhelmed by their circumstances or engage in the blame culture of runaway or deceased parents, they became acquainted with hard work, always trying to ensure that there was food on their table, roof over their heads. They had grown to watch out for themselves as siblings, they had become each other’s trusted friends; they refused to be idle but always finding something to do in the most unbelievable situations under the despicable circumstances.  It didn’t matter whether they engaged in a job on the road side as beggars or in the pub or brothel or working or trading from home and selling whatever was produced from their home bakery.  They learnt to be industrious rather than being sorry for themselves. Even though they were considered poor by the standard of man, they were rich in the sight of God.  Luke 16.

In their time of scarcity, littleness and nothingness, they had opened up their house to Jesus the meeter of all needs, the one who ministers seed to the sower and who also ministers bread for food who is capable of multiplying the seed sown and increase the fruits of their gesture of kindness.  As much as their physical needs remained enormous they were still willing to part with the little that they had in order that they may gain what money could not buy.  They embraced Jesus not just as a guest in their home or just as a need ‘meeter’ but received him as the ‘Word of God’.  They gave Christ room in their heart by engaging Him; they had found wine and milk without money and without cost. Receiving him not just as a guest in their home but received him as the ‘Word of God’ that gives life eternal.   (Luke 10:38-42, 2Corinthians 9:10, Isaiah 55:1-3)

They were rejected by men in their community; no one wished to associate with them but they found a friend in Jesus who was not ashamed to call them His friends. They loved Him and were loved by Him.   Knowing Him provided them a way out of the crypts of anxiety, worry, lack, rejection, abandonment and feeling of dejection.  They knew Him who is the Father for the fatherless, husband for the widow, the eyes to the blind, hope for the hopeless and help for the helpless, they had come to know Him whose word heals the sick, ministers to the hungry and thirsty soul.  He became to them the rescuer, deliverer, saviour, provider, sustainer, supporter, the joy and the rejoicing of their heart.

Knowing Jesus showed them out of the crypts of neglect and moved them from the continuity of painful labor of their worldly business to embrace the one thing that was needful, the salvation of their souls and they became the benefactors of the love and favour of God that could not be taken away like their parents had walked away from them.  So, the ‘nobodies became known as the friends of Jesus and He called them His friends.

Beloved, if a friend, a husband, a wife or a family, had walked out on  you or you have suffered a loss of something you considered so important to you, your business, work or opportunity and you have been struggling in silence because of the pain of the loss you have suffered, the neglect, rejection, hardship or toiling, and you have become busy in engaging in worldly business in order to cover up your pain, and it has led you further in the depths of the crypts of unforgiveness, bitterness, low self-esteem, lack of confidence, hopelessness and depression. You can come out of the crypts today! Open your heart to Jesus! Let him come and reside in your heart as a father, a friend, a lover, a saviour and a redeemer, a provider and sustainer. Receiving Jesus in your heart is simple. All you have to do is believe that he died for your sins and resurrected for your justification and confess Him as your Lord; you are saved! Romans10:9-11.

Consider this:

  • When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. [Psa 27:10 KJV]
  • A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. [Pro 17:17 KJV]
  • Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. [Joh 15:15 KJV]
  • For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Rom 8:38-39 NIV]
  • And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose. [Rom 8:28 KJV]
